Cloud Saturday is a community focused event dedicated to engaging and educating technology business leaders about the revolutionary strategies known collectively as cloud computing.
The Atlanta event was great. I’m thankful to have been able to present a session on cloud messaging with a focus on IoT. The room was packed and there were vendors and customers alike wanting to get more information on IoT.
In my session, I presented how to send sensor data from an IoT device up to the cloud through messaging with Azure Event Hub and blob storage.
The device we used was a Raspberry Pi 3 with several Keyes sensors: temperature/humidity (KY-015), photodiode(KY-018)/laser(KY-08), magnet reed switch (KY-021).
