It is my pleasure to be an IoT Coach to help teams through the Hackathon sprints (agile) as they build from an idea to a proof of concept demonstration. In my role, I shall provide product management and product development expertise.
WHAT?
The Challenges we want to do! Team Challenges Aim to Demonstrate Proof of Concepts of the Internet of Things in:
MEDIA (Improving the sights, sounds, sharing of data, weather, scoreboards, kiosks, maps to get to the stadium, to the seats, and Transportation to improving the transportation of the fans to the stands, performers to the field) FACILITY MANAGEMENT (Improving the delivery of power, lighting, water, trash, restrooms, parking as well as the logistics of supplies and goods.) RETAIL/FINTECH (Improving the food/drink/merchandise experience for the guests and the volunteers and support for the health, the safety of the fans and the performers) OPEN CHALLENGE (Solutions that cross more than one category)
WHY ?
The hackathon is intended to develop proof of concepts to help the community understand the possibilities of the internet of things. We want to do more than talk about IoT we want to build it! As an IOT use case, we would like to see how we could improve a high school sports stadium.
